Flat Stanley Visits Washington, D.C.
Flat Stanley came to DC and what a great time he had! First he was shown all around the House of the Temple and all the great treasures that are there; next he saw the U.S. Capitol building and then had a very nice tour of the Library of Congress. Quite a visit. But then, missing his friend in Nebraska he went back to Lincoln and we heard him say, "the National's Capital is a great place to visit."

Though Robert Burns died at the age of 37 - the victim of a rheumatic heart conditon or, some say, his licentious lifestyle, Burns is heralded as Scotland’s most famous son. His life is celebrated each year on his birthday the world over with dinner, Scotch, his poems and music, and haggis, the national dish of Scotland. Lincoln Hosts 2nd Statewide RiteCare Meeting
Several years ago, Charles V. Sederstrom, Jr., 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Nebraska, began working to improve the unity between Nebraska's RiteCare clinics. He noticed that the clinics in Hastings, Lincoln, Omaha, and the newest clinic in Kearney were operating semi-independently of one another. Thus began an annual tradition of bringing together Nebraska's RiteCare clinicians and Scottish Rite Masons. . .
