The best way to learn about the Scottish Rite is to ask. We are always happy to talk about Scottish Rite Masonry and how you can become a part of this great fraternity. We have a long tradition in the Unites States that started in 1801 in Charleston, South Carolina. Our headquarters is now in Washington, D.C. at the historic “House of the Temple,” a beautiful building housing an extraordinary museum and library dedicated to sharing the story of Freemasonry.
If you interested in the building at 332 Centennial Mall South (15th and L Streets, on Centennial Mall), stop in. Or call us at (402) 435-2144. We are always ready to show you the building whether out of curiosity or interested in holding a reception in our rental space. The most common quote is, "I didn’t know the building was so beautiful!" Just come see us.
