Bro. Bennett is a Past Master of his Lodge, Past President of the Tri-county Shrine Club, Past Patron of Eastern Star, Chapter Dad of DeMolay, and Associate Bethel Guardian of Job’s Daughters.

Venerable master, lodge of perfection

In 2007, Brother Bennett was raised a Master Mason in Thistle Lodge No. 61 in Lexington, NE in 1982. Ed joined Hastings Valley and became a 32º Scottish Rite Mason on March 24, 1983. He affiliated with Lincoln Valley on May 15, 2017, and was invested a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor on October 22, 2021.

He served six-years as Chaplain on the Tehama Divan and four in that position for the Sesostris Divan.

Ed is active in his church and service in his community. He currently serves on the Council of Sheridan Lutheran Church, is Past President of the Lexington Community Foundation, and Past President of the Lexington Lion’s Club.
