Lincoln Knights of St. Andrew ringing bells for the Salvation Army in December.
Knight Commander Greg Prososki sent his thanks to the Lincoln Knights of St. Andrew who made it out to Fallbrook to ring bells for the Salvation Army this past weekend. He writes, "Even though the weather did a 180 from what was expected, I think we had a good time, drew some attention to our organization, took a few pics with people, and one of us even helped a shopper pick out a Christmas tree! I would say it was a success! Cold and snowy, but a success!"
After ringing, Knights headed over to SchillingBridge to warm up and have some drinks and a late lunch. The food was great and the Scottish Ales were very good as well! We need to keep this in mind for future KSA outings. (Thanks to Sir Andy for the suggestion!).
We also discussed the Robert Burns dinner coming up in January, and there will be more discussion and planning in the near future, and we will be requesting help from everyone to make the Burns Celebration a success!
