The Lincoln Valley Scottish Rite welcomes a new face in the office. Joni Bennett came on-board in May, as Bruce Wood, 33° reduces his schedule to about 20 hours per week. Joni is not new to the Masonic family, having been a member of Dawson Chapter #33, Order of the Eastern Star since 1977. She served as Worthy Grand Matron for the Grand Chapter for Nebraska for 1998-1999. Joni is a member of Naamah Temple and Naphis Temple Daughters of the Nile.

She owned a custom window treatment business in Lexington for over 30 years. Joni and husband Ed (a 30+ year member of the Hastings Valley) own Market Interactive in Lincoln, a custom web development company. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, spectator sports, especially the Huskers and KC Royals. She also enjoys spending time with family.
