MW John Maxell represented the Grand Lodge of Nebraska at the MW Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Nebraska Annual Communication in Omaha on Friday, July 15, 2016. MW Tommy Blan, Jr., presented John a certificate naming him an honorary member of Nebraska Prince Hall Freemasonry. John was accompanied by RW Rick Myers, Deputy Grand Master of Masons.

John Maxell and Tommy Blan, Jr. celebrated 25 years of joint Masonic recognition at a banquet and ceremony in June, 2015. Nebraska was the first state to extend full recognition between the two Grand Lodges.
