The Lincoln Clinic hosted a virtual Walk on Saturday, July 25th at the Barkley Memorial Center on the UNL East Campus. Like the events in Hastings and Omaha, ‘DriveRite Thru for RiteCare’ was a virtual event, and parents could maintain social distancing without even leaving their cars. RiteCare Clinicians Holly Schlautman and Suzie Budzinski set up a scavenger hunt, with signs set up around the parking lot of the Barkley Memorial Center, and kids could ‘find’ the different items on the signs. Kids could throw balls into a small pool from their car, and win prizes including a RiteCare water bottle and tote bag. Several families participated in the event, and the kids enjoyed seeing their Clinicians. Like the other Clinics, most therapy sessions have been done by telepractice.
