Fifty RiteCare families met at Lincoln’s Pioneer Park on Saturday, July 17th for the annual Walk for RiteCare, walking to support speech therapy.
The kids’ excitement was evident, as children rushed to give hugs to Miss Holly Schlautman and Miss Suzie Budzinski, our Lincoln Clinicians, who gave each of the children a RiteCare backpack stuffed with treats and a water bottle. Clinicians also brought frosted Eileen’s cookies, chips, and pretzels as snacks.
At 10:30, with a welcome by Holly and Suzie, families kicked off a walk around the Pioneer Park trail, with families returning to the picnic pavilion for bean bag toss games or the adjoining playground. Proceeds from the Walk will support RiteCare services in Lincoln.
