The Lincoln Scottish Rite was filled with kids, members, and guests of all ages for an old-fashioned ice cream social, where the ice cream and fun were free and it was hard to tell which age group was enjoying the event the most. The only disagreements occurred over preferences of toppings. . .
Great Day for Lincoln's Annual WalkRite for RiteCare
The 5th annual WalkRite for RiteCare was held at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo on a perfect Saturday morning on May 25th. Scottish Rite Masons, students from the Nebraska Student Speech-Language Hearing Society (NSSLHA) at UNL, RiteCare parents and families, and the Clinicians turned out for the Walk, which raised $2,000 for speech therapy through the Lincoln Scottish Rite Preservation Foundation. . .
Lincoln Hosts 2nd Statewide RiteCare Meeting
Several years ago, Charles V. Sederstrom, Jr., 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Nebraska, began working to improve the unity between Nebraska's RiteCare clinics. He noticed that the clinics in Hastings, Lincoln, Omaha, and the newest clinic in Kearney were operating semi-independently of one another. Thus began an annual tradition of bringing together Nebraska's RiteCare clinicians and Scottish Rite Masons. . .
